Description

Friends brings together work by two artists immersed in the contemporary jewellery world – Ulo Florack and Ralf Burkhard. Close friends, they are united by mutual appreciation, although in style they are diametrically opposed. Ulo is a transgressor, creating work is figurative, surreal, baroque, ironic but employing traditional materials such as gold, silver and enamel, whereas Ralf is a minimalist, rational, visually and technically contemporary, using materials such as Perspex and cellulose acetate.
