It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear friend and wonderful artist Lucy Sarneel. Her warmth, kindness and extraordinary talent shone bright and suffused everything she did, from her beautiful zinc jewellery, rich with tradition, symbol and remembrances of the Dutch blue-grey sky and the sea, to her teaching at Gerrit Rietveld Akademie, Alchimia and beyond.
Lucy’s infectious smile and unceasing optimism touched everyone who knew her and we will all miss you, dear Lucy.
