Dana Seachuga

Human beings have always given gifts – tangible objects to express otherwise intangible thoughts and emotions – and it is this idea that Dana Seachuga explores in her work. When referring to jewellery as a gift, it carries with it many different sociological and private meanings, she says, and these are the ambiguities which fascinate her. ‘I know what I have given you…I do not know what you have received.’ Antonio Porchia, Voces
