KAON HIKAGE (INSTITUTE)
HIKO MIZUNO COLLEGE OF JEWELRY
When I make something, I look for the part that I feel comfortable with according to my own experience and feelings. At the root of that is the manufacturing that is borne from my father, an architect, and my mother, a designer. Their influence runs through me in various forms such as space, colour and words. This work was given by my father and mother, and it is myself. In this work, I used my father’s drawings, my mother’s designs, and acrylic paints that are indispensable for colouring. I combine and press them. They become entangled and become one, a series of overlapping parts.
