Hundreds of individual interlocked, laser cut components create volume in my jewellery. By connecting 2D textile surfaces one by one, they transform into 3D shapes, patterns and textures. These complex, repetitive structures represent the extensive experimental possibilities inherent in my way of assembling. The natural world is my inspiration: petals, butterflies, snakes, fish scales and growth structures. I like to be inspired by different subjects and work on various projects at the same time, creating an interesting interaction between things. Every piece is focused on flexibility, movement and wearability. These pieces must be touched, felt or worn to fully understand their capabilities and function. They come alive on the body.
