22 November 2025 until 27 January 2026
current exhibitions at Galerie Marzee
Apart from the extensive stock collection on the ground floor and the Marzee Collection on the second floor, you can visit 4 different exhibitions until 27 January 2026:
Two solo exhibitions:
- Dominik Cunningham – Theia Mania – jewellery and objects
- Katharina Dettar – Lapis, dust and ashes – jewellery
One thematic exhibition:
- About Hare
The hare is a widely used symbol in art and literature. The hare of Albrecht Dürer from 1502 is probably the most famous depiction of a hare. Joseph Beuys also used the symbolism of the hare in his influential 1965 performance entitled ‘Wie man dem toten Hasen die Bilder erklärt’. In the Marzee Collection there are many pieces of jewellery depicting hares and for this exhibition we have again asked our artists for an object or jewellery around this theme.
One exhibition commemorating Francesco Pavan:
Francesco Pavan passed away this year and we don’t want to let the life and work of this remarkable Italian artist pass by without showing some of his exceptional work.
